My mom called me yesterday to tell me about the impending eclipse at the same time that some coworkers started talking about it (not a TV watcher, I hadn't a clue). Even though I have to be up at a godforsaken hour to go to an apartment showing in Honolulu later today, I decided to park my butt in the tennis court to take a timelapse still image sequence. Actually, I ended up flat on my back because the moon was almost directly overhead. I got it through to totality, but missed the re-emergence since my battery died (forgot to pack the spare). I pretty much got all of totality though. Here is the timelapse below, am working on a better version where the moon is centered in the frame at all times:
