I just got finished registering an new domain name, katharineosborne.com. This is because I can't change the nameservers on my old domain name, digitalkaos.net, thanks to my stubborn Swiss registrar, joker.com. I needed to do this since my webhost, llamacom.com is unexpectedly going out of business. Fortunately, the registration expires in September, so I'll be able to get the domain back (hopefully) at that time. It is amazing just how much crap I had tied up in my old domain - especially my email. I've had to wrack my brain thinking about all the services I had to up date that use that email address as a primary contact (I still need to fix my bank info - apparently, the bank I use doesn't respond to its support requests). Anyway, this did give me the motivation to finally put up my blog, which you will know, if you are reading this. All this had to happen just before a major chapter deadline. Oh well.
